Hi Travelers,

I've been sharing my personal insights into the benefits and enjoyment of wholesome nude recreation. Be it nude hiking, nude camping, skinny dipping, and visiting clubs/resorts affiliated with the American Association for Nude Recreation.

Recently I read a mystery novel set within a nudist residential enclave. It not only captured my interest as a really good "who done it," but it also beautifully offered up the author's perspective on the folks who have embraced naturism.

So let me share with you my review of this book...Enjoy the read!

Naked Came The Hunter by M.J. Edington is a fast-paced page-turner presenting multiple mysteries in need of unraveling.

The thriller opens with the brutal, near fatal beating our hero in the isolated West Virginia mountains. Remarkably, he is discovered, and his wounds tended to by a retired trauma surgeon and his nurse who are residents of a nearby naturist enclave.

Unexpected and most interesting in this enjoyable read, is that as plots unfurl, our recovering hero, who now suffers from amnesia, gains an understanding and appreciation for the nudist life philosophy.

Naked Came The Hunter takes you on a journey to solve not one, but two main mysteries…who and why was our hero beaten and left to die in the secluded woods of West Virginia, and who is behind the attempts to wipe out this nudist community.

In this gripping tale of survival, the reader is also transported to a place of understanding about the nudist culture. As noted by one sage character: “We take clothing for granted, but when we shed their artificiality, we see each other as we truly are…we see the splendor of the human being.”

Another insight revealed: “modesty isn’t the clothing we wear, but an aspect of our character.”  Also, that as our hero observes of the nudist community residents: “They moved in time with the unique rhythms of nature, living life at its own gentle cadence.”

You’ll surely enjoy this riveting tale peppered with fine suspense and the added element of a journey of self-discovery.  Naked Came The Hunter is a must read for anyone interested in a good yarn and insights into the platonic compassion nudists show for one another and their natural surroundings.  For naturists, it serves as a great tool to share with others you may be seeking understanding or acceptance from.
